Before accepting your invitation to the championship and making your official entry online, we ask that you please recheck your schedule to ensure you are available to play prior to applying for an event, as this is an invitational, and only a certain number of players are provided entry.
There is no need to withdraw an application if you are designated as an alternate player, should you not get accepted to the initial field.
Policy for Withdrawing Tournament Entry
If a player withdraws his/ her entry into the invitational and provides notice 45 days prior to the first day of the championship (by May 3, 2021), the player will receive a refund of the entry fee, less a $50 withdrawal fee. Refunds will be delivered using the same payment method used at the time of entry.
If a player withdraws from the championship with less than 45 days’ notice, their name will be removed and will forfeit the full entry fee.
If a player fails to show up on the day of the championship without notice, the player will be marked as “DNS” and will forfeit their full entry fee.
Note: Certain exceptions may be made for medical and bereavement circumstances under the consideration of the tournament committee. Also, if local public health officials or management of Norwood Hills Country Club determine the facility needs to be closed for medical reasons, such as Covid-19, full refunds will be issued to all players, if a rescedule date is unavalable.
