Q: Can I volunteer for events?

Q: How old do you have to be to participate?
A: Players, men and women, between the ages of 14 to 18, as of the day after the second round of the tournament can participate. The committee will consider players that recently turned 19 and just graduated from high school in May.

Q: When does registration close for the tournament?
A: Invited players will have to confirm their registration online at least 30 days prior to the first day of the tournament.

Q: What yardages do men and women play from?
A: Yardages will vary on the Easy and West Courses and for women and men. The yardages will be reflective of the general yardage requirements seen at AJGA championships.

Q: If I have registered as a player, am I guaranteed entry into the championship?

A: NO. When you register as a player, you are not guaranteed entry, but are placed on the pending player pool . Final confirmation will be pending formal invitation by the rules committee.

Q: How many players will be accepted?

A: The tournament will provide entry for approximately 90 junior golfers - 55 men competing in the young gentlemen's division and 35 women competing in the young ladies division.

Q: If the maximum number of players has been met, can I be placed on a waiting list?

A: YES. Once the initial invitations have been sent, there will be notices for those players being placed on the alternate list. If spots come available, players will be moved form the alternate list to the tournament player's list.

Q: When will the first round of players be selected for invitation to participate in the championship?

A: The initial field of formal invitations sent to selected players to register for the championship will be in mid-April.

Q: Will carts be available to rent?

A: Carts will be available for rent for spectators on a first come first serve basis. Carts will be available for rent by coaches. The tournament committee and officials will use carts. There may be opportunities to shuttle spectators to the halfway house who have difficulty walking.
